Get safely social – Early bird registrations now open

Should your safety campaign utilise Twitter or Facebook? Instagram or Snapchat?

Using the wrong social media channel for your target audience is like throwing a party and sending invitations to the wrong address. Avoid standing in the proverbial kitchen and ensure you know where your target market is spending time in cyberspace by booking your spot at VSCN’s Smart Ways to Promote Safety with Social Media workshop.

Presenter Sam Mutimer is an engaging social media expert who will take you through the social media minefield in a session specifically targeted towards safety promotion and injury prevention. The highly practical session will include a live demonstration of how to develop an impactful social media campaign and you will leave with a blueprint for creating your own campaigns.

Held at The Royal Children’s Hospital on Thursday, October 1, the event will run from 8.30am to 1.30pm, including a networking lunch. It will also serve as the launch of Community Safety Month.

The special Early Bird registration price of $55 for members and $132 for non-members will only be available only until September 30 so make sure your membership is up-to-date then book your spot here.
