Communities (Municipalities, cities, counties etc) can be certified as “Safe Communities” after application to WHO Collaborating Centre on Community Safety Promotion. This is done according to the concept of “safe Communities” – a concept developed by The World Health Organisation.

See Leif Svanström’s post on WHO Collaborating Centre on Community Safety Promotion for more information.
